Christ the King

The feast of Christ the King is the last Sunday of the Christian year (the one preceding Advent Sunday). It is a day in which the Church celebrates the coming of God's Kingdom in Christ and of his final victory over all things. This is the truth that crowns the whole of the year and so it is a festival of joy and celebration. The liturgical colour for Christ the King is white or gold.
